The most powerful position is the world is held by a mere mortal; one who can ill, age and die, or get tempted into sins, just like all of the normal us. What makes him higher than and gives him the right to govern us, if he's the same as us?
Shouldn't it be held by a more "special" individual? Like people who have amazing foresight or amazing powers of negotiation? Or like people who are abnormal and who have special powers like invicibility or can levitatation?
I'm nominating Criss Angel/David Blaine.
2. Amazing individuals in this world DO exist.
Ron Paul, Warren Buffet, the Dalai Lama, the sciencists at CERN, Jeremy Clarkson, Andrew Yeo. And God created me? OMG.
3. There are uneducated, ignorant people existing in this world. Or rather, seemingly educated people but are intellectually handicapped.
I interact with people a lot, online and offline. Me thinks the cause of the world's crisis is that people do not want to use their brains and think a step further. Come on, denying the existance of global warming? Invading countries for wars/oil? Going into high risk, highly profitable sub-prime mortgage loans, someone should have realised that they needed to draw some line somewhere isn't it?
Even with people around me, gah! Housemates, WHY DO YOU THROW RUBBISH ONTO A FULL BIN WHEN THERE'S AN EMPTY BIN NEXT TO IT??
