What is a La la?

sometimes people occasionally come across weird questions which have no definite answers to. such questions may be philosophical like "why do we exists?" or "why do i undergo so much suffering undergoing the process of studying?". Other questions may be economical and be of value like "shld i eat mcdonalds or kfc today?". There are also mind-baffling types of questions that every teen with raging hormones would ask, like "does he/she like me or not?"

note that all questions DO NOT have a definite answer. for example, if i ever ask "Will Edwin/Kendrick ever overtake the world one day?" The answer would be. wait. errr...

ok that was a bad example, for the answer IS quite definite. but i guess u get the idea.

so for today, i have a question to ask all young minds who are looking for a challenge. the topic in mind is something that everyone has come across with, im quite sure. It revolves around us, next to us, and even on top of us (i stay in a condo).

What, is the darn hell, is la la?

mind you, the la la in mind is not the fresh water clams that we can eat, lol, its the way of life of certain urbanites of the KLers. upon mentioning that, most people would think of rowdy sexy statements splashed across bright neon pink clothes, worn by a guy with green funky hair and big spikey bangles. thus, it is not deniable that one has not seen one while walking the streets of sungai wang or sunway pyramid.

But then, to think of it, la laism has variable extends of funkishness and colourism. to some, one who only got his hair dyed gold and styled like a porcupine would automatically be catagorised as a la la. but thats the norm for many, for even some aunties who i know have the some golden hairdo in the shape of a lion's mane! but u cant call her a la la isnt it? in fact, you might even consider asking her how did she do it. But wait. i believe many have seen la las without dyed hair. hmmm how can it be the one can identify a la la without dyed the subject himself with dyed hair? Obviously hair isnt an issue here for being a la la. Its something else. But from here we can clear see that age is of an important critera here.

Often, we look at a shirt is a shopping mall and call it a 'la la shirt'. so now could it be that the attire is of upmost importance? then, wat is a la la shirt? for all i know, it has many colours ranging from white, black, green, pink, blue and purple. quite common colours right? well, some of your uncles wear worse, so dun complain. could it be of the design? wat defines a la la design then? wild bold statements saying that the wearer is HIV positive? some might consist of a crest of arms in a vintage attempt.

heck, but even a shirt of alternating black and pink strips can be of a la la design. HUH? that really did blurred the line between la la and non-la laism right? ok. u try asking yourself, what exactly is or defines a la la design? Or what are the elements of a la la design? I believe even u cant tell right? but the thing is sure that, when you see one, youll know one isnt it?

Ok. If the determining factor is not the hair, and since we CANT establish a direct link between the attire and the la la feel, then simple logic, whats left is the FACE lar!

Aha. so next time when u see this baby being borned out, doctors can stare at the face and tell the distressed parent that "congrats! your son/daughter is a la la. " And lo and behold, a new line of occupation will be spawned, called the 'La La Head Hunters', spotting potential non-la las and in an attempt of makeovering him into a hardcore la la. Then, theyll be the La La Manhunt, where may the best, la la-iest la la win. And which guy can ever forget Miss Universe La La, where 32 countries meet each other to contest in 8 small groups before the winner meets winner in a knock-out format. It might as well be as well received as the World Cup, being held every yr due to the abundant number of la las in this world.

And of course, i guess there'll be an age limit. ...... right?
