Putrajaya Photoshoot
A couple of weeks ago, Stan Chia, Charles Yang and Chun Howe suggested that we needed to go to Putrajaya for a photoshoot. We all had heard that how awesome Putrajaya was, wide roads, futuristic bridges, architecturally beautiful building with walking monkeys inside them. Alah, so nice place how can you not go?
Somehow, I fell asleep along the way and Stan was driving with Charles pointing out the way. When I woke up, we had arrived at Dataran Putra, one of the key landmarks/points in Putrajaya. There was the home of the iconic Putra Mosque (above), right next to the Putrajaya lake.
Reflections of the Putra Mosque, and you have to agree when they say that the golden hours for photography is dawn and dust. As light fell, the mosque started to light up, and honestly, it looked pretty good.
Stan setting up with kit at the Dataran Putra.
Charles setting up Stan's kit I think.... wait, why ah?
Perdana Putra, the Prime Minister's office with its iconic big green onion dome. And you would never have guessed that our Prime Ministers ain't exactly vegetarians. Can you imagine that one day, A&W would take over the building and start manufacturing our beloved onion rings inside?
Artistically Out-Of-Focus. Guess which building it is?
Any accidental exposure at the Seri Wawasan Bridge. I like the accidentally effect it had. The car's mata was like, on fire!
This time a proper shot of the Seri Wawasan Bridge.
From afar, the Palace of Justice, alongside the Seri Saujana Bridge!
A larger, closer shot of the Palace of Justice. If you actually go close enough, the interior architecture is just so intricate, you know? When like, the current human civillisation die out right, and another civillisation come, I bet they'll be in awe of this too, just like how we look at the Great Pyramids.
A shot from afar, the Seri Wawasan Bridge. Such a beauty, ain't it? :)
And all these without bringing my tripod and I had to pinjam from Stan from time to time. Imagine if I had my tripod fulltime? *lansi* Anyways, my package has just arrived in JB from the UK (yeppie!) and I will able to get my tripod soon! Yay!
Ok la, that's all for this photography post. I need to go back one day la!
*hugs my Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM in glee*

Today I'm gonna blog about my trip to Cambridge almost 2 weeks ago!
I'm so terrible, (to the nods of others) I took almost 2 weeks to get my pictures organised! arghhh~ But again, there were almost 200 + 200 + 200 + 100 = 700 pictures (4 cameras). All 4 cameras took more or less the same stuff. Omg, i headache! @#$!%one^&*
Ok la! bullshit aside! LET'S GO!
First, we introduce the main characters of the day:

L-R, Clarissa, Michelle, Wendy and Uncle Charlie.

And behind them, the One, the Only, the Awesomatic Chunhowe!

hi-i-am-from-Brazil Clarissa. Is visiting in London and are Howe's roommate for 3 weeks.

Hi-aku-dari-ma-lai-xi-ya Wendy. My special ability is disguising my face into a sourplum.

Hi-wo-chong-shan-zhong-lai Michelle. I like turtles and birds a lot! Dogs too!

Hi-my-face-looks-better-at-this-angle Uncle Charlie! I love girls of the Taurus starsign!

Hi-I-am-very-shy Teng Yi. Her boyfriend is even shy-er, not in the picture at all! Power right?
Ok la, people camera shy, cannot meh?

And last but not least, I-wanna-sit-moto Uncle Howe!!! *woooo claps* *crazyfrog music start playing*

Woots, just nice got market on that day!

Uncle straight away went to shop for discounted goods!
But since we had woke up really early that day, I dragged Uncle back and we went to Starbucks instead.

We discussing strategy: "Do you think Malaysia can win the Olympic?"
"Oily-pig can la. Olympic... a bit de hard right?"

Yo yo! We are the canggih brothers!!

A small model of Cambridge. Cool right?

*touching the Braille characters* "Yes, Chunhowe is very hansem. He is very charismatic too."

Michelle likes to collecting dog pictures. PICTURE ONE.

Just next to the Market Square is the afamed King's College!

Our super friendly tourist from Malaysia.

King's College entrance.

King's College entrance from another angle.

Dunno these people doing what. Anyhowe™ shot?
An Anyhowe™ shot, ie. a special but no special meaning shot, ie. got meaning k?

Down the roads of Cambridge.

We went to the Museum of Zoology!

OMGBBQ! Whale skeleton!
At this time, Charlie faints from overshock. So we will take a break now while chunhowe takes a rest from blogging. Haha! Chunhowe now too tired d! this is not even 1/3 of all the photos k!? =.=
What will happen to the Whale skeleton? Will it suddenly turn alive and swim away? Or will Chunhowe use its ribs as a toothpick? Stay tuned to find out!

My Trip to Germany Day 1: Bremen

Click here for Pictures of Day 5

Click here for Pictures of Day 2
As mentioned earlier, I just came back from Berlin, Germany. I took a long time to update this post simply because I was lazy to edit the photos.
If anyone else remembers that I went to Scotland for a week a month ago, well, the pictures aren't even sorted yet.
=D
OK OK I WILL! SOON!
------
Germany - BremenDay 1
Some useless information from our friends at wikipedia!
Bremen [ˈbʀeːmən] is a Hanseatic city in northwestern Germany (official name: Stadtgemeinde Bremen / City Municipality of Bremen). It is a port city, situated along the river Weser, about 60 km (37 mi) south from its mouth on the North Sea. Bremen is one of two towns belonging to the state of Bremen (official name: Freie Hansestadt Bremen1 (Free Hanseatic City of Bremen), referring to its membership in the medieval Hanseatic League), the other being Bremerhaven. In 2005, the population of the city was estimated to be 545,983 (the state with the city Bremerhaven having a population of 664,080), while the metropolitan area of Bremen-Oldenburg has a population of more than 2.37 million. Thus, Bremen is the second most populous city in North Germany and tenth in Germany.NB. Due to the sheer amount of photos taken during the trip, and I sincerely believe that no one cares about the words anyways, this entry shall be a pictorial entry with minimal descriptions. lol~ THERE ARE SO MUCH PICTURES!!! GRRRRRR
At the airport, taking a GBP10 flight with RyanAir. The planned route is London - Bremen (1 day) - Berlin (3 days) - Bremen (1 day) - London
Just arrived at Bremen. See? Their taxi use Merc one. Wait till all the big bosses in M'sia know about this.
The tram station at the Airport. First time I sit tram leh. Oh yea... I've sat it once in HK. *shrugs*
In the tram from the Bremen Airport to the Bremen city center, which is soooooo close, what? 15 minutes ride? Damn clean la, compared to M...
Few of the many trams rides found in the city.
Tram station that we arrived at in the mid of the Bremen city. I dunno what's the name of the building in front of me lah, I only know it looks nice only. =D this is HDR k?
The focal point of Bremen, the town square. Bremen damn small lah, walk a bit finish d. All the major tourist destinations are clustered together one. The above picture is the famous City Hall of Bremen. [HDR]
Photo of my lengzai self. My hair damn messy lah, the wind strong!
Two guys, a saxo and a guitar buskering on the sidewalk. Damn niceee....
Goods on sale at one of the souvenier shops.
One of the stalls selling sausages in the middle of the square.
The sausage damn long la. costs 1.80 Euro i think.
Random old man who speaks very good English talked to us while we ate. Thumbs up!
Next to the stall ngam got one church. And NGAM got wedding inside. WOOOO GERMAN WEDDING!!! *aggressive-tourist-fighter spirit takes over*
Young is a poser.
After we keluar dari Church tu, kita berjumpa hujan lebat. Tapi kita adalah fighter, thus kita pun terus fighting on gi hostel kita dulu. Bila tiba, aku terusss lompat tas katil saya.
LOL.
random info: *chunhowe changes to shorts*
Another foto of the tram services. So nice lah - clean & easy. Best of all is that you can hope on and off for free, at your own risk thou.
Shortly after the rain stopped, on the high streets of Bremen. [HDR]
At the end of the high st, there were a few artistic scluptures of a shepard and his pigs. Waita minute... pigs need a shepard one meh?
Another part of Bremen, low streets i guess. =P
A take on the picture composition of a water fountain and a church tower.
Young bullying a small German boy.
Young: NAHHHHHHHHHHH *shows legendary awesome fist from 3 years of Korean NS*
Boy *stares blankly* huh?
Posers down at one of the town squares.
In Bremen, there's a street that is famous for being narrow and holding a lot of pubs, restaurants and quirky gift shops.
Further in...
Me with tripod.
Somewhere else, I try a shot at the glaring sun. [HDR]
We push on to the outskirts of the Bremen city central. Great cooling weather then.
One random shot I tried. [HDR]
Young's emo shot. (ok ok overexposed. sorrieee)
From Young's POV.
One of the restaurant signboards. The pig-burst-out-of-sign restaurant.
Practising my chunted camera skills.
Practising again while Young gobbles down a bread roll. WITH MAYO! See who hungry we were!?
After one damn hour, of waiting for something we didn't know (we were gesturing to the special in the menu". The pigs must be fast in Germany I guess.
Poser.
Me posing for a shot.
Whoops!
By the time the darn meal was over (they had taken 30 mins to produce the damn bill) It was evening! Night scene photo taking time!
Young posing for a shot.
We posed more...
..And more (howe's drunk&emo shot)
And more...
And more.........................
And soon, the night was over. Great day it was! First day in Germany; first day in Bremen!
Omfg. Still got 4 days to blog about more!
