OMG. Manchester United - Liverpool 1-2.
It wasn't really defensive suicide but rather the midfield was totally demolished man utd. Masche and alonso played very well today, incomparable to the performance of scholes and anderson.
The 4-4-2 formation was complete shit. Rooney on the right flank? I thought we've been through this last season? christ, i bet if we stuck to a proper 4-4-2 with either 1 of the 3 forwards on the bench, the game might had been different. Or if SAF wanted to, a plain 4-3-3 might have been a different story. OMGGG Rooney is not a winger!! he's a 2nd striker!! play him where deserves to be! omg!
Man Utd was outplayed by a Torres-less Liverpool. But you can't really say that "if torres was there, man utd would be demolished"-kinda thing, you know. Maybe man utd underestimated the torres-less liverpool or smth. The lads, incl. edwinVDS and wes brown, was fine but the tactics were completely off. I'm a man utd fan, but i'm not a "fanatic" man utd fan - Kudos to liverpool for winning the game, it hurts me to say, but man utd deserved to lose today.
shit.

Been to the Emirates Stadium with some friends. Man, it's freaking huge and is a damn nice damn nice stadium. Too bad it belongs to one of the dirtiest teams in the land.
*cough*fabre*cough*

Man Utd 2 - Arsenal 1
Glory Glory Man United,
Glory Glory Man United;
Glory Glory Man United,
As the Reds go marching ON ON ON!
Two-one fightback at Old Trafford - one stupid hand-of-God from adebayorr, followed by a heartwrenching retakened penalty and a perfectally taken freekick.
Arsenal players are fucking dirty. But I've to admit that Cristiano Ronaldo showboats a lot.
4 more games till the title race is over. Who will win and reign supreme over the others? Who will chase futilely for 3 years but to no avail?
and I CAN'T WAIT... aiks!
Oh ya, check out Marie Digby. She's seriously an awesome singer who emerged through the support in Youtube. Her album (haven't heard) just came out on 8th April.
Godownload hear!

My First Post of the Year is a Rojak Post
Hello everyone! Happy Chinese New Year!
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who hasn't forgot about me, the poor-old' cute chunhowe hidden in a corner of the world's birthday. There wasn't a need to, but it's nice of you guys to drop by, thanks!
But next time hor, I wouldn't mind, you know, something else to go with your well wishes.
My HSBC Account is 4179 xxxx. Haha!
I no angbow to collect leh! So cham.
------
I was watching The Day After Tomorrow on my lappie while chewing on my barrel of Fried Chicken (birthday present from myself)
If you know, I have always been complaining about how cold the weather is in London now.
When I saw the scene where people and New York started to freeze instantaneously as temperatures dropped 150C per second, my room like suddenly turned very cold.
I wonder why.
------
Warning: Football post ahead.
I've been watching the trail of the Premier League since I was 16 or 17 years old, very much influenced by fellow footie fans like Eugene and Chong. Considering many old guys, I'm considered quite a newbie. Yet till this stage now, I have to admit that I never failed to refresh Soccernet at least once a day, got on the news of a new signing within 48 hours, and played Man Utd in Football Manager till I've already superseded Sir Alex Ferguson as one of the best Managers in the club's history (of course, that wouldn't make any sense at all realistically).
Yet the direction of the Premier League is turning in a way which I had foreseen, but never wished to admit to.
I just hope that the Premier League would just turn back into pure, passionate game of clubs playing football instead of the current, recent trend of foreigners cashing in for profits and fame.
Takeovers by very rich bastards have already taken place, which extents to the Big Four of Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd. Even comparatively smaller clubs like West Ham United and Derby County (which I never understood). Pressure by the owners to achieve results to rank in more profits (to a certain extent of truth) has maimed the face of the game. Liverpool's manager is going on a downwards spiral while Chelsea's was sacked, Arsenal was almost scrapped.
More and more wealthy businessman are seeing clubs as entities of cash-generating cows. With the Premier League getting more and more widespread coverage over the world, TV revenues are increasing, and with that, the prize money of major competitions increased, everyone wants a slice of pie. Players now cost and demand more, stadiums getting bigger and debts piling up high.
And unlike Barcelona, most of the owners aren't real fans of their own clubs.
It's not a pretty scene I guess.
And the latest development was to squeeze in one more game to play overseas in major cities like Hong Kong and Japan. Thereby, the cities will get to bid to host a game to the already jam-packed 38 game schedule, thus one, earning from the proceeds of bids and gate receipts, and two, increasing the global appeal to local fans and as a result increasing revenue through jerseys and fanware.
I don't like it. I've got a feeling it's gonna be a "rich-get-richer, poor-get-poorer" vicious cycle.
Wait till I buy over Sunderland, Man Utd's good buddy.

Jingle Jingle~
It's already mid of the month lah! Christmas is coming.. brrr...
Not that I celebrate it nor my parents celebrate it, even if I would love to. I mean, the whole idea of having a lot of people you know at your house all merrying and having fun together on a special occasion sure is good. It's so joyous and nice, you know, to be in the Christmas mood and listening to Christmas songs together. So, I suggested to my mum to have a Christmas BBQ cum gathering for our family friends just as a small get-together.
Dad: "That's a good idea!"
Mum: "ARE YOU KIDDING? DO YOU KNOW HOW TROUBLESOME IT IS? WHO'S GONNA DO THE CLEANING UP? "
=.="
Guess my mum doesn't let the spirit of Christmas touch her much eh?
------
Sunday's Super Sunday. Remember to catch it and not to specially come home early and then end up forgetting to watch your footie match, like me. Reminders!!
ESPN 9,25pm : LIVP - MANUTD
ESPN 11.55am : ARSL - CHEL

So sien lah! Stupid weather. If you hadn't known, the Jeram Besu trip was cancelled due to the folks at Raub, being closest town to Jeram Besu, was asked to be on stand-by in relief centers for the floods. Along with Pahang towns on the east coast, like Kuantan and Pekan.
Initially. prior to the call to stand-by, I was already monitoring the situation in Raub, which thoughts of flood would have been stupid. First of all, Raub is next to Fraser's Hill. Unless God decides to flood the world once more, I wouldn't bet on it to be covered in water.

Raub is so inwards of Malaysia lah, next to the Tahan Mountain range.
Secondly, under Weilxuan's suggestion, I went to check the weather through the Malaysian weather forecast website. Which turned out to be the same cloudy-rain-rain for the consecutive 6 days. Now, unless the weather runs on a scheduled time-table, it looked to me like it was kinda weird. but nevertheless...
...the trip was decided to be cancelled.
------
I just read the papers today. The people at Raub are allowed to move back in again. Heaven's idea of a Christmas prank on me eh?

Mourning for Mourinho
Jose: "I can just type "www.amazon.com".. search.. "wayne rooney". 30 million pounds. Do you want me to press buy? I can press buy."
Drogba: "no sir.. no sir..!"
OMG! Jose's gone!
What a waste. Talking about friendly rivalry. To quote Sir Alex Ferguson, what's he gonna do with that bottle of wine now?

"I went to NS too!"
Will Avram Grant be good enough to fill the socks of the Special One?
Will Jose Mourinho go on and accept the job of coaching Malaysia?
Will Drogba be next on Amazon.com?
Will Sir Alex share his bottle of wine with me?

I came back alive
Going to pyramid was never this fatal.
Talking about road of a thousand deathwishes.
Saturday, i went out with Tuan (a.k.a. silversnow/eat/showtime) and Richard (a.k.a. richard/nomes) to Pyramid. Since Tuan had gotten his Satria not too long from his brother, we decided to take it out for a spin.
Tuan, who has not been driving for the whole of last year and got himself into accidents with walls and drains when he did (try to park in totally vacant car park... imagine that.), kindly offered the opportunity to Richard.
The last Richard came with a diesel-eating manual Hilux.
Now he comes with a modified-for-racing manual Satria.
Suddenly, the Hilux idea didn't seem as bad after all...

Tuan. Empty car park also scratch his own car.

Richard. Driver in question.
Now... Pyramid has a parking system where you spiral up the floors first, then only to come down floor by floor to get parking lots.
traffic jammed at the spiraling slopes + manual car + modified exhaust = NOT FUN
R: "traffic jam here..?" (balances car)
(car grunts: VROOOOMMMMMMMMM...)
(silence)
Me: "eh, i think we're dropping down."
R: "Nevermind, we got handbrake."
======
Ho ho ho... but anyways, we managed to park safely and in time to catch Happy Feet. It's quite a waste of time and the storyline sucks. All it did was to bring lip-synching to a new level. Okie la, the CGI weren't bad and the story had some truth to it, eg the penguin's survival. Imho, if you haven't watched in, don't bother. Might as well spend the money to watch Cicakman. Lagi Shiok.

Cicakman!
And guess what's next local blockbuster? The Roti-canai Strikes Back.

"Where is my roti CANAI?"
======
The Manchester United - Chelsea match ended with a 1-1 draw. Kinda disappointing thou, ManU dominated for the whole of first half before Chelsea actually "woke up" and many chances in front of the goalpost was wasted. 6 points lead mah. Amusingly, my championship manager played the same match this afternoon, ended up with a 1-1 draw too. Hehe.. so ngam eh?
cheers~

May The Force be with You
hmmm... has been a long time since i posted, and i bet by now many people would have been thinking "Where the hell did this handsome but yet charismatic Chunhowe go to?" In fact, i realised recently that I haven't been on MSN much, I haven't been attending classes much (oops), and i haven't been studying much. AIKS
Eh? So what have I been doing la?
To tell the truth, I really have not much of an idea. The exams are approaching and I don't feel like i have been much productive la. but hey, if you surf blogs often, you would have realised that no one actually feels productive when exams draws near. And what does that tell you?
Since everyone is doing nothing and everything except studying (woots, rhymes.), it can only mean that you're normal too! So, go on dily-dalying! It's what everyone does anyway!
Btw, syabas to those who have finish their exams and are continuously tempting and making me feel jealous with their holidays. You have done a very good job here. But let old Master Jedi Howda warn you that shiok, you may be, but pass soon, these days will.
May the Force be with you. You'll need it.

Oh yea, i was watching this anime called "The Melanchony of Haruhi Suzumiya" that day. 14 episodes marked the ending.. short, but meaningful it was. In short, the anime was talking about this girl who feels how insignificant she is, and as a result tries to make her life purposeful by 'looking for some of the mysteries in life', like aliens, time-travellers and espers. And ngam ngam this girl, unknowingly, has the power to make whatever she thinks, real. Ya la, as a result, aliens, time-travellers and esper did exist, only becaused she believed that they DID exist.
There was this interesting thought in my head that day, of inspiration of the anime. The anime, was as thought telling me that:
"If you really do believe in something, it's not impossible to achieve it"... Just like how you can create wonders, only if you believe you can. If you smack yourself with disbelieve, Samyvellu also cant help you la.. (sorry, samyvellu just rhymed)
Quite philosphical eh? I think it makes 100% sense too, doesn't it?
"How can it be la? Talking crap only... You so geng, go climb twin towers lah..."
Think about it. If to say a miracle was to be created, say to scale the 70+ storeys Petronas twin towers. At the very moment, you tell yourself that impossible, you have already given up ie. no longer believing...! If only you had continued in believing in yourself, you wouldn't have given up trying. Determination will pave your way through. The only way you would have failed in something would be the moment that you have given up. Now.. that is utter failure then.
Unless you fall down from the 69th storey la... but that would be another case then.
Understand? Hope you understooded.
Like this screenshot match from the football game, Championship Manager 2007.

Guess what?? Malaysia won! 3-0 wei..! When you thought the Malaysia team couldn't beat anyone without rasuahing or high altitude training in uk.......... THEY DID!
