Parents take care of you since the day you were born. I remember watching a documentary once, saying that babies, by nature, learn through mimicking most basic human actions like standing, eating, by observations of other people around them. If your parents are very patient people, the child would most likely to grow up to be peaceful. Similiarly, if your parents have been violent-prone, there is a higher tendency for the child to react the same way. That's the reason why many place importance on the homely environment and your environmental influences since young.

Animal babies: some actions are by instinct, but many others are learned from copying parent's movements.
I was wondering if we can blame our parents for misdoings.
Parents are human by nature. They do wrong too. They are just like any one of us. And yet, we, as children, take after them.
But ironically, they expect us to be perfect, innocent children, not realising that we would most probably grow up to exactly be like them.
Just an example, my parents love to sleep in late. However, they expect me to sleep in early. Do you think I'll pickup this habit?
Another example, my parents love to speed. However, they expect me to drive at a turtle's pace when I'm driving. Although I recognise the difference in circumstances, I do think it would have been in my nature if my parents have been doing what they actually say.

They're not perfect, i understand. Nobody is perfect too.
Are my shortcomings going to be inherited by my children too?
