Formal Letter *updated 2nd Dec*

------

This is an update on the trip's planning process. For the original plans, please refer to the lower part of this post.

1. The date scheduled has been decided at 20th to the 22nd. A brief rundown as follows:

2. The updated plan is as below:
20th: BBQ at Weil Xuan's house
21st: To Jeram Besu (j/B)
22nd: Back from j/B.
2. Detailed rundown: On the night of the 20th of December, we have decided to hold a BBQ dinner at Weilxuan's house. Timing is to be confirmed. Guests who are coming with us to j/B are advised to stay overnight so as to avert any logistical problems the next day. On the 21st, we shall head out for j/B at a yet to be determined time in the morning and shall be back on the 22nd at a yet to be determined time at night.

Activities that we have planned to carry out are Water Confidence/Whitewater Rafting and 4WD Off Road Adventure/Some Waterfall (lol), but yet to be confirmed by the relevant operators, which is basically a 2D1N schedule. The slimline in schedule is due to high running costs considerations, ie. not only you, we also pokkai d. you are not alone.

3. The pre-determined price should now range around RM290, exclusive of transportation and miscellaneous costs. The breakdown is as follows:

Package: RM 270
BBQ Food Costs: RM 20

4. One area of great concern is the transport from both from KL to Raub and Raub to j/B. So far, we have 8 confirmed names and a few more pending. Thus, we have considered several viable options on the methods to get there and here are our findings:

Catered van per way (KL - j/B): RM 500.
Catered van per way per pax: RM 50
Estimated total cost by Van per pax: RM 100

Public transport per way per pax (KL - Raub)(estimated): RM 15
Catered van per way (Raub - j/B): RM 80
Estimated total cost by Public Transport per pax: RM 46
Hassle cost per way (WX House - KL, Puduraya): priceless

Private Transport per way (KL - j/B)(estimated): RM 150
Estimated total cost by Private transport per pax: RM 15

As such, it is much advised that private transportation is used.

*ahem*

We hereby humbley ask, in view of the probability of saving a total of almost RM 300, we would really appreciate if everyone doing can do their part and try to free up some private transport from home. Ultimately, this will be a collective effort in everyone having great fun and laughing at each other, all together. Any help contributed will be greatly appreciated.

5. Please note that the deadline for confirmation of attendance is the coming Monday's mid-afternoon (3rd December).

6. We have been forced to accept Suet Yi as the secretary of The Planning Partners. =P

Thanks for your kind attention.

Yours Sincerely,
The Planning Partners.

To my fellow ex-classmates from Sunway,

Re: Arrangements for End-of-Year-Trip-cum-Let's-Ge-Away Vacation.

There are currently plans for a year end trip to an undecided destination yet. However, the organising committee do have several locations in mind, listed as below:

1. Jeram Besu, or known as Besu Rapids.

The main activities amongst those available there includes whitewater rafting, 4WD driving, waterfall visits, cave exploring etc. It's more of an adventurous holiday for the tired weary students to relax themselves once more.

The Point Zero (cheyyy~) is located in Raub, Pahang, which is somewhere near Fraser's Hill, 2 hours drive from KL. We will try to arrange transport for all depending on the number of people... well, unless somebody *looks at weilxuan and alex* is so handsome and kind enough to be willing to sacrifice their *ahem* mode of transport for the benefit of mankind. Drivers are abundant if not available. Crash-prone drivers, we have many. =D

Currently, we are looking around a price of RM 320++ per pax for a 3D2N, subject to negotiations with the operator. This is inclusive of food and stay, but not yet inclusive of transport.

The committee has gone through several reviews and finds this above destination satisfactory.

Please visit the given link for details.

2. Tanah Tinggi Camrons, or known as Cameron Highlands.

Activities are not settled yet, but amongst those confirmed are Strawberry Farms, Robinson Waterfall and Steamboat Restaurants. There are slight problems finding suitable attractions to cater to our "needs".

Point Zero is 2.5 hours away from KL. Transport to the destination wouldn't pose a problem, but transport within it would probably be subjected to several alterations.

Price wise, it's quite economical as many travel lodges can be located there. For the time being, it is quite convenient to state that it will be around RM250. However, it must be advised that Cameron Highlands is a popular tourist area in the upcoming school holidays, booking may be crowded and must be done ASAP.

The committee finds that there's no need to go through reviews and finds this above destination satisfactory.

Please visit the given link for details.

If you have any other ideas, please do tell us and we certainly happily will consider it. However, once a consensus has been arrived at, we do not hope to see any flaming nor disagreements in the later stages. It a typical speak-now-or-hold-your-peace forever kinda thing.

For any queries/feedback, please tag the board on the left of your screen, or kindly PM the contacts below.

Thank you for your time. We hope to hear from you soon.

Yours Faithfully,
