For the non-gamers or those innocent people, WCG stands for World Cyber Games, enveloping countries over the hold World. People come together to compete in games like Fifa, Counterstrike, Warcraft3: FT and Starcraft:Broodwars. It is much similiar to the World Cup for soccer or Chunhowe for charasmatism... Unless the gamer really did stay up in the trees of Swak and used treadmill-running-orangutans to power his computer, it is much likely that he will know abt it too.
As a side note, WCG is also held even regionally, with a fellow malaysian winning the glory for the Asian WCG Champion for Fifa. Syabas, dude!
Oh yea, the winners of the WCG Malaysia for each game would win a trip to Monaca, Italy for the International WCG!
The guys made our way seperately and disorganisely. hahhahaha... oh yea, we made in there in the end!
This is probably the only occasion in Malaysia where 1000 young energetic guys will wake up at 6am in the morning and aggressively squeeze together in a queue.
(edit: scrap the energetic. apparently many of they stayed up late training...semangatism)
After the queue for the walk-in registration, u would have seen the entrance to the hall.
And once you enter the hall: it was like.. WHOA.

This was basically how we watched the players played. There were 3 big Samsung LCDs for the spectators. everyone had to squeeze together just to take a look.
This was a Deathprophet of DotA fame. btw, this little witch and her fellow Juggernaut were basically screwed by the opponent's much organised Akasha and Viper combo.

Side Note:
Today was the most humuliating days of my life. I would have preferred to be tarpau-ed badly/feed/scolded 'noob' but the problem was that i wasnt even given the chance to... Sorry to the guys who really trained with me and wasted all their time and efforts and mental energy, truely sorry. and a special apology out to chong and his gang of people, for they really had a chance to win but sadly, i can only say that im thoroughly ashamed of myself and i dunno how to face u guys in the future. Sorry for all inconveniences and the disappointment. i can only say that im solely responsible for the failure of duty which was expected of me. Sorry guys...
