Chinese New Year just isn't normal when you're not at home, no matter how much you try to make yourself feel better.
In fact, the act of trying to celebrate CNY is weird. The other day while having dinner at Wendy's and Adlan's place, they were playing chinese new year songs via youtube. It hit me all of a sudden that this was a lame attempt to try... try and recreate the CNY mood. It is just going to be futile to make oneself feel better. It's not enough, no matter how much silly songs you play, or how much you try to have a fun dinner.
Biatches in Malaysia, you better celebrate your CNY properly, or Papa Howe will hunt your Angbow while you're asleep.
