On the Friday evening I received a call from Wendy asking me to go for breakfast at Ikea at Edmonton, which was just a stone's throw away from my house. Yea right, you must be wondering, breakfast at Ikea... Like Ikea's a mamak shop, right?
BUTTT there's really breakfast there wor! AT IKEA!
And just for 95p, you get a full English breakfast, consisting of a sausage, a piece of bacon, hashbrown, scrambled eggs and baked beans. And a cup of coffee ok?
In fact, it was so value for money that didn't hesistate to take down 2 sets: one whilst waiting for her gang (I arrived 30 mins earlier ok?) and another after they did. For friends who are familiar with Kaishien, despite arriving later than I, he took down 2 and a half and many other bits and pieces of cakes we ordered before I could with mine. Geng-chao right?
And as a sign of prove as to how worth it was, Wendy bought her entire family with her. Scary~
I mean, imagine one day your restaurant's having a buffet and Wendy brings her whole kampung there. How scary is that?
To end it off, who says "cheap cheap food is no good"? Ikea 95p breakfast proved exactly the contrary. Hooray to the Swedish company! For such a good price, I'd ta pau if I can la!
